Allyson Felix
Allyson Melissa Felix was born at Los Angeles, California on November 18th 1985. Paul Felix, her father was a pastor ordained of Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix worked at Balboa Magnet elementary school. Felix demonstrated a talent in athletics from the beginning, and soon discovered her ability to sprint during her time at Los Angeles Baptist High School. After just 10 weeks of her initial attempt, she finished 2nd in the 200-meter race in the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championship. Felix was signed to a career in professional sports with Adidas in 2003. She after that she enrolled at University of Southern California to study elementary education. A year later Felix won her very first Olympic medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens Greece making an all-time junior world record running 200 meters in 22.18 seconds. Felix became the world's youngest winner in the 200m at the Helsinki World Championships and defended her title again in 2007, beating her long-time Jamaican rival Veronica Campbell. Felix placed consistently at the top of the podium throughout her events in the Olympics held in Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
