Aisha Hinds is an American actor best famous for her role in the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her debut in 2003 she has proven her acting versatility by giving outstanding performances in television shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1--8-7 and Under the Dome. First noticed in 2005 for her role as Anna that was in Assault on Precinct 13 However, it was her character in the role of Fannie Lou (a feminist activist for women's rights) within the biography All the Way film that brought her fame as an actor. Hind received praise for her performance as Harriet Tubman, in WGN America's historical drama Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the show to a third season. Her father Krishnaraj died in the month of March after a lengthy stint as a scientist in the Indian Army. Vrinda, her mother, is a homemaker. Bachchan was crowned the queen of Bollywood by playing Paro the betrayed lover of Paro in Devdas, (2002). Devdas was among Bollywood's biggest successes. It was also the first film that was screened at the Cannes Film Festival. Chokher (2002), a dramatized version of the Rabindranath Tagore novel Chokher (2003) was praised by the critics. Bachchan was the very first Indian to serve on the jury of the Cannes Film Festival. Bachchan was part of Gurinder Chedha's Bride and Prejudice. This musical and ballet adaptation of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice is directed by Gurinder. The beauty and star power of Bachchan were brought to the first major English-language film. She returned to Bollywood was for Dhoom: 2 2006 before she released Provoked The Provoked True Story (2006). In April 2007 she married Abhishek Bachchan a frequent co-star and the daughter of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan in a marriage which brought together two of the most powerful Indian people.
