Alison Doody
Alison Doody was born in Dublin in Ireland on November 11, 1996. Model as well as an Irish actress. Her debut in a feature film was a small role in The James Bond film A View to a Kill. (1985). Later she played the Nazi-sympathising archaeologist Elsa Schneider (Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade 1989). Siobhan in A Prayer for the Dying, Charlotte in Taffin and Rebecca Flannery Major League II. Doody began modeling when she was approached. The outcome proved to be a lucrative career. Doody did not wear fashion, thongs and glamour when she was modeling. If she came to the director's attention in the role in a James Bond film, Doody was offered a small role on the film A View to a Kill (1985). Doody was named as one of the top 12 promising young Actors of 1986 in John Willis Screen World, Volume. 38. Doody was just turning age 18 when she was given the character as a Bond girl. She is still the youngest Bond girl. A different early film played a tiny part in the film in a small role as IRA member Siobhan Donovan on A Prayer for the Dying (1987) that featured Mickey Rourke. Doody had an unspoken role in the film as Archibald Craven's wife Lilias when she appeared in his film of a dream, the 1987 adaptation to The Secret Garden. The Storyteller episode from 1988 included her in the leading role of Sapsorrow and was portrayed by John Hurt Dawn French Jennifer Saunders. She played opposite Pierce Brosnan, in the 1988 film Taffin. In the following film, she played her most memorable role to date as Austrian Archaeologist and Nazisympathiser The doctor. Elsa Schneider playing alongside Harrison Ford. Doody is a member of the James Bond family, having played alongside Sean Connery and Jonathan Pryce in the film Indiana Jones and The Last Crusade. Doody was co-starring with Jonathan Pryce, in the British mini-series Selling Hitler. The series was inspired by the Hitler Diaries publishing scam. She later moved to Hollywood. The role she played was Flannery on the screen in Major League II, opposite Charlie Sheen. Doody was a part of The 2003 British comedy The Actors. Michael Caine portrayed her at a ceremony to receive an award. Doody's roles include the TV movie adaptation of King Solomon's Mines in 2004 as well as a booklet on the Holocaust, and an animated short called Benjamin's Struggle in 2005. Doody appeared as a character in Danny Dyer 2010's The Rapture. In the following year, she was a guest in the RTE Medical thriller The Clinic. She was also set to be the star of the remake of the horror classic The Asphyx. However, the project was ultimately canceled. Pam Jefferson is her role in the E4 Comedy Drama Beaver Falls' first of two seasons. In 2014 she appeared in We Still Kill the Old Way. The Almeria tierra de film award was given to her on November 21 in 2018. She also received one of the stars at the Almeria Walk Of Fame.
